About Us
Craig Hightower
New Energy Project Management Co-founder President and Lead Project Developer

Craig brings 16 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Originally from California’s Central Valley, he began his entrepreneurial journey in auto detailing before transitioning to solar energy in 2010. His commitment to environmental sustainability led him to spearhead successful Community Solar campaigns in Minnesota and New York, where he helped expand access to renewable energy solutions. In his most recent position, Craig was the Regional Manager of Sales and Manager of Commercial Sales for the NY branch. He is also an active member of the Ulster County Renewable Energy Implementation Group, where he provides his expertise in utility interconnection and project development as the county takes action on climate goals.
At New Energy PM, Craig’s mission is to guide clients toward cleaner, more efficient, and cost-effective energy alternatives with the knowledge he has attained through his work and personal experience. Craig recently went through a full energy conversion to net zero at his home, which helped illustrate how important a service like New Energy Project Management will be to allow for a successful energy transition. His work is deeply rooted in a passion for reducing the environmental impact of traditional energy systems and promoting the benefits of renewable energy.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the natural beauty of the outdoors.
